occasionally offer Time For Prints/CD for suitable models. These may be for my portfolio, advertising, experimentation, or stock photography work. Payment will be in the form of photo and model releases will be required – parents or guardians will also be required to sign for any model under 18 year old. Models who would like to shoot with me please read through the text below. It should answer most, if not all, questions you may have regarding working with Natural Art Media. What Is TFP/TFCD? TFP or Trade For Prints is an agreement when the model trades her time with a photographer for prints she can use in her portfolio. These days most TF* model shoots are actually delivered to the model in TFCD. In a TF* shoot the model and the photographer come to an agreement to exchange their time and services to each other in a trade. No money is exchanged for a TF* session. While the model provides his or her time and skill as a model the photographer provides his or her skill as a photographer and photo re-toucher. Together photographer and model collaborate to create a specified set of images. I…

Real Lies TV
This is actually my first view of and the very first shot of the abandoned subway that I took. I shot this from outside, looking in through one of the arches. I was about to put all my gear down and jump into the subway and then pull my gear in after me when about 70 4th & 5th graders …

This is one of the last shots I took before leaving the Broad street bridge area of the aqueduct/subway and heading under the library and a major street intersection. I liked the dimensional feel from this location; the walls and ceiling in this area are fantastic with the rust, crumbling concrete, and, of course, the graffiti.

I think judgement day has come for the abandoned trolley subway in Rochester, NY. The light at the end of the tunnel is construction crews filling in the subway under Broad street. The exhaust was so thick here I could hardly breathe and could not venture any further down the tunnel. What light was here is coming through the open …

I have no idea what (or who) “Pezor” is, but you should get some while it’s hot. Or maybe you should get some ’til it’s hot? Possibly Pezor heats up or cools down over time – I’m just not sure. I do know it was pretty warm in the subway while I was shooting that afternoon. I’m really glad I …

I managed to spend about 3 hours in the abandoned subway in Rochester, NY. It was an awesome place to visit, and a bit creepy in the darker areas. However, the part of the subway that runs over the Genesee River and under Broad Street was light, open, and full of graffiti. I jumped into the subway from the west …

I have to say, after hearing/reading all the recent stories about photographers being arrested or detained for shooting train stations, buildings, etc… in public locations, I was trying to be mentally prepared for a little trouble. In fact I almost just skipped it. However, I had already shot the Wilder building a few days before and I really liked the …

This is the south side of the Wilder building in downtown Rochester. It was Rochester’s first “skyscraper”, erected in 1887 by Samuel Wilder. In 1891 Daniel Powers added three tower stories to his existing building to claim the tallest building in Rochester. I shot this from the Broadway bridge and it doesn’t look so tall from this location because the …

I’m really excited about the post today because I like the way this turned out. It’s a happy surprise for several reasons: I had been facing the other way photographing the chute from the last post and had my back to this. I almost didn’t take the shot because it was shooting into the sun and I thought it wouldn’t …
