Chutes…

Nikon D3x, Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8, 19mm, f/2.8, ISO 100, 5 exposures

I’m not sure what this was used for but I’d love to know.  The way this contraption was setup looked almost like some sort of finished product was shipped off the second floor, down this chute and across the rollers onto a truck or something that could be parked just off to the right of this photo.  The riding surface of this chute looked exactly like a playground “slide” for kids – just very steep.

At any rate, I didn’t hang around too long – it smelled like open sewer here.

Rather than putting this in an upcoming post, here is another shot of it from a alternate perspective and different post processing.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see the cobra here? You might have to step back a bit to see it.

Oh, the title? It will make more sense with the upcoming post on Friday. Wait for it…..
