Model InformationI occasionally offer Time For Prints/CD for suitable models. These may be for my portfolio, advertising, experimentation, or stock photography work. Payment will be in the form of photo and model releases will be required – parents or guardians will also be required to sign for any model under 18 year old. Models who would like to shoot with me please read through the text below. It should answer most, if not all, questions you may have regarding working with Natural Art Media. What Is TFP/TFCD? TFP or Trade For Prints is an agreement when the model trades her time with a photographer for prints she can use in her portfolio. These days most TF* model shoots are actually delivered to the model in TFCD. In a TF* shoot the model and the photographer come to an agreement to exchange their time and services to each other in a trade. No money is exchanged for a TF* session. While the model provides his or her time and skill as a model the photographer provides his or her skill as a photographer and photo re-toucher. Lost My Blog :(

The last week of December (2009) I was upgrading my Linux server OS and there was a slight little problem with the upgrade. That’s happened before, and usually no real big deal. I decided to install the latest version of Ubuntu (9.10). Somehow in the process my WordPress databases got wiped out. Let me point out that this was not Linode or WordPress problem at all. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but my server wouldn’t boot the new version of Ubuntu after it was upgraded. No problem, I dismount all my disks with databases, WordPress, and other tools on it, and install a fresh copy of Ubuntu on a new root partition. Somehow in the process I wiped out my disks with WordPress and databases. Well, okay, no problem, I’ll just go back to my backups and restore all my blogs. Arrrgggggghhhh – all my backups are corrupt.

So, now I’ve lost 2 1/2 years of blog posts – not fun. It’s 2010, no use crying over lost posts, just fix the backup and move on. The question now, is: Rewrite old blog posts that I know the approximate dates for, rewrite them as new for 2010, or skip it and move on?
